The Insolvency Rules
The Insolvency Rules date back to 1986 and are subject to various amendments.
The text of the rules can be found online here. Whilst it is excellent that the internet enables free access to statutes, the Rules themselves are still largely technical and written in fairly legalistic language. Because of the associated costs risks in litigation, we advocate that you should, as a pre-requisite, obtain legal advice from one of our experienced team before embarking on litigation.
The point to note is that with legal matters failure to follow the correct process or comply with a timescale, either as a creditor or a debtor, can have disastrous consequences.
